HARRISBURG, PA (MAY 20, 2005) - Representative Ron Marsico, along with Dauphin County Commissioner, Nick DiFrancesco, and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) announced today the relocation of CM Squared Inc., at an open house / ribbon cutting held at their new facility on 4411 Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township.
"CM Squared could have located anywhere in central Pennsylvania, and they chose Dauphin County," Commissioner Nick DiFrancesco said. "We are delighted to have them here. Christian D. Malesic and his employees are good corporate neighbors and skilled entrepreneurs who will provide outstanding service and family-sustaining jobs to the community."
CM Squared, Inc. is a Dauphin County lighting design and installation firm and also full service electricians. On a referral from Dauphin County's Office of Economic Development, CREDC provided a Small Business First Loan, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Fulton Bank provided additional financing.
Quote from Christian D. Malesic:
CM Squared, Inc. has ten full-time and one part-time employee and previously operated from a private residence. The new Linglestown Road location expands office space five-fold and provides a larger warehouse / storage space, as well as additional parking for company trucks and employee vehicles. Additional land provides the opportunity to grow and build in the future. In all, the new facility is essential to allow the firm to fulfill plans to double its size in the next 3 to 4 years.
