Founded in 1957, the IEC has faced the challenges imposed by the ever-changing world of the electrical industry. IEC has built a reputation as the premier trade association for America's independent electrical contractors, aggressively working with the industry to promote electricians based on quality and merit. The association serves as the voice of the electrical contracting industry on policies affecting its membership. Remodelors Council (RC) - Member in Good Standing

Raising awareness of remodeling and promoting the benefits of hiring professional remodelers is one of the Council's key tasks. To improve and promote professionalism within the remodeling industry, the Council, in conjunction with the National Association of Home Builders, also provides education, certification, and information to assist its members in all aspects of their business. Membership in the Council reflects a commitment to responsible business practices, quality construction, and reliable customer service.

The HBA are the folks that bring the Central PA region The Home Show, the Parade of Homes, and the Home-a-rama. Though the primary purpose of the association is to encourage and promote home ownership, improving ethical standards and the condition of the building industry are also paramount.

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber helps businesses grow and prosper by promoting economic development in Central Pennsylvania's Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties. Recognized as one of the largest, most dynamic organizations of its kind, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber was initially known as the Harrisburg Board of Trade and was founded in the late 1800s. In 1912, it was decided that the organization should be formally incorporated as a Chamber of Commerce and by 1913 that official designation was given to the organization.

The Pennsylvania Chamber, second only to the California Chamber of Commerce in size, has 10,000+ members with 80% having less than 100 employees. The PA Chamber is dedicated to helping the business community prosper in the State of Pennsylvania. Through advocacy & government affairs efforts, the Chamber lobbies on behalf of business to keep PA a business-friendly environment. The Chamber also strives to take business to a higher level through publications, conferences, and the Business Reference Desk.
