HARRISBURG, PA - The York County Chamber of Commerce presented CM Squared, Inc. with its 2nd place award for Best New Exhibit at Expo 2002 on Tuesday, April 10th. The Chamber awards recognize the best businesses, as reflected in the design, uniqueness, and craftsmanship of their trade show booth.
York Business and Manufacturing Expo 2002, organized by the York County Chamber of Commerce, is Pennsylvania's largest Chamber-sponsored business show. In its 22nd year, Expo 2002 at the York Fairgrounds was held on April 10th and 11th with almost 400 businesses represented. Each year the judging committee seeks out businesses displaying a new trade show booth for their annual awards of excellence. The judging criterion focuses on the design and display of exhibits that are new, unique, and attention grabbing.
Christian D. Malesic, President and Chief Executive Officer of CM Squared, Inc., commented, "Our booth design was built around an industrial concept. Using perforated steel, metal studs, and lots of color, we displayed both our Lighting Design & Installation division and our Electrical Contracting division." Malesic continued, "My hat goes off to my brother, Craig [Craig G. Malesic, LC], our Lighting Designer and Master Electrician, and our employees. Without Craig's creative flair and the craftsmanship of our electricians, we could have never produced an exhibit deserving of such a prestigious award."
